Sin limpiar, sin cerradura funcional y con ratas: 14 noches muy por debajo de lo anunciado Positive: La ubicación es correcta y el apartamento tiene un tamaño adecuado. Tras insistir durante semanas, el alojamiento acabó facilitando la hoja de reclamaciones, emitiendo la factura y abonando el reembolso ofrecido. Negative: Seguridad. La puerta principal carecía de cierre efectivo. Aun con la llave echada, se abría accionando el picaporte, y desde el exterior podía abrirse con una llave distinta de la nuestra. Lo comunicamos por escrito e incluso ofrecimos facilitar el acceso para repararlo. Nunca se reparó: pasamos las catorce noches sin poder cerrar la vivienda y sin dejar nada de valor dentro al salir. Salubridad. Había insectos muertos repartidos por toda la casa. El 3 de agosto vimos ratas en la urbanización. En una vivienda con ese nivel de suciedad previo, no es un detalle menor. Humedades y olor. Las ventanas no cerraban bien y había humedades en varias zonas. La combinación de ambas cosas impregnó toda nuestra ropa y el equipaje de un olor pútrido que no desaparecía ventilando. Al volver tuvimos que lavar absolutamente todo lo que llevábamos, incluida la ropa que ni siquiera habíamos usado. Desperfectos. La lavadora perdía agua durante el lavado. Había baldosas sueltas en el suelo. Varias luces no funcionaban. El armario estaba roto, con una balda caída. El grifo del baño estaba suelto y la alcachofa de la ducha rota y descolgada. Información obligatoria y gestión. No había en la vivienda ningún cartel informativo sobre la disponibilidad de hojas de reclamaciones, pese a ser obligatorio en establecimientos turísticos de Canarias. Tuvimos que pedir la hoja tres veces antes de conseguirla, y la factura cuatro veces. El alojamiento nos ofreció por escrito un reembolso del 15%, que aceptamos el mismo día facilitando los datos bancarios; después no respondió a los recordatorios, incumplió el plazo que ellos mismos fijaron y solo pagó tras un requerimiento formal con fecha límite. Booking.com cerró el caso reconociendo por escrito problemas de higiene, mantenimiento y seguridad, pero sin intervenir en el impago del alojamiento. Resumen.

Positive: I stayed here two times and will come back for sure another time when I will travel in the same area, on the island. The view is amazing! The kitchen has everything. Also the bathroom. Bed very comfortable. But get ready if you do not have a car. It's quite a walk 😋. But for me this was not a problem as I actually came to el Toscal for the walks on the coast and the amazing views that area has.

Great location to access the beauty of Tenerife but driving is definitely not for the faint of heart Positive: The view was spectacular. Rooms would have been quiet except the constant crashing of the waves against the rocky shore below. If you like that this is the place for you. It didn't effect our sleep thankfully. Negative: Not an easy room to find after arriving. Had to use a video provided to follow to make our way down to room. Description was not easy to follow to get there. Also would be great to mention the super steep road access with minimal tight parking. With the standard transmission easy to burn out clutch trying to start out and if have to back out even worse.
